Hi guys,
After my Civic Type-R I needed a quick build. It's the Toyota Hilux from Aoshima. I build it box-stock, even the color came with the plan. Normally I'm not in to white, but this time it fits the car really well(but that's my opinion). Excuse me if the pics arn't ok, I'm still testing my new camera(Yep, Santa has already passed by  )

That truck looks clean!!
You really did a nice job on this one. I was wondering if you could show (or describe) how the bed cover is attached (hinged). I am scratch building one right now and I am undecided between two methods I have come up with.
thnx,
Steve

"has a small pin"
is this a metal pin in the plastic bed cover or a "pin" made out of plastic??
possible pic of the hinge??

The pin is moulded on to the bedcover. Would like to show you a pic but you can't see the "hinge" anymore. Sorry :shakehead

looks good man! Is that a Homie i spy? :icon16:
i think he means with the pin and hole on the bedcover is that it works kind of like a kids toy. Where the pin is molded coming off of the bed cover and molded holes at the end of the bed. I dont know if you can visualize the connection but its pretty simple

That is how I made mine. I am kind of stuck on how to get it in the bed. I have the holes drilled in the bed rails, and have styrene rod sticking out of the sides (pins) of the bed cover but I don't want to break the pins off getting it in the hole?!? I think I am going to trim the pin so it is only very small (more like a nub then a pin) then see if that works. Very nice truck & thanks for the response!!
