heating does not work

My heating does not work. I only get cold air.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem...

Hi there, I now have the same problem with my girlfriends 1999 clio RXE. She had problems starting the car and I put this down to a few problems, but one was a badily corroded negative terminal on the battery. I changed this today, which then meant I lost the stereo code (thats another story) but the job was sorted. I took the car out later today and the car heating was working fine, then half way through the journey the car started blowing cold and only cold! The car is heating up fine the blower works on all speeds the air conditioning cuts in it all works as it should but I just can't get any heat.
I hope someone can help us out soon

could be a blocket heater matrix or anything else i.e dodgy switch/connections.hopefully it is not too hard to get into it,it will be under the scuttle panel where the front wipers are on some of the older models its a 6 hour job.
the cold air comes directly from outside if its a non air-con model but it does show the fan is working ok.like said i would suggest a blocked heater matrix,if you can find something in your local car accesory shop to put through your cooling sytem that unblocks it it may help
