Accord Problems

Hey u guys have help me before just hoping u can do the same this time....
I have a 90 honda accord and when i am driving it will die and some times start back up righ away other times i have to wait a little while and then it will crank up. the motor is spinning just not cranking. so i was thinking may only when something gets hot like ignition mod or somthing. maybe its something with ignition. oh i have changed my fuel filter. so any suggestions or ideas will be apperciated. Thanks 4 ur help

Could be a coil or ignition switch. See IdahoRodeo thread for tests to check that it is the coil.

check main relay, sounds like you have the symptoms from when it goes bad.

ok i read idaho rodeo thread and will try that out thanks......but i think there might be more to this little problem. when i opened the hood one of the spark plug wire caps looked like it came up a little bit, so i put it back down and it cranked but didnt have time to drive cause i had to go to work. so what could be making my plug cap come up or loose.(if your looking at the car from the front it is the 2nd plug wire from right to left ... or driver to passanger side any thought will be a help thanks again

I had the same problem...ending up being the my distributor. Had to replace the whole thing. Its not a cheap part...about $300 I paid.

The plug wire popping up could be caused by a loose/broken plug which pressurizes the spark plug tube when the engine is running.e
