The same thing happened to my 2000 and I had a bad window motor. You need to replace the window motor. I paid about $250 for the motor and labor at my local window shop.

Same thing is happening to mine. How hard of a job is this? Do I have to remove the door panel?
The window motor just wimpers and quits and then you have to wait a few minutes and then it'll work again.

it is not that difficult. All you remove is the section were the handle is and yu will have access to the window motor. The only hard part is that it is rivited on. Thas why I took it to a profesional.

Is there a way to remove the rivets? I got into where the motor is and I saw them. I hate to just grind them away. How would the dealership do it?

use a drill and a drill bit until they pop off.
