power steering and brake problem

About 3 days ago i put my astro on reverse and the steering whent completely hard and the brakes where hard to press down and were not baking wright. I checked the power steering fluid and it was empty.I replaced the fluid and turned the steering wheel about 15 time and still its hard to steer what should i do.

Sounds like the hydroboost unit has failed. This unit is used to generate the brake boost, like a vacuum booster on other cars. It is ran by the power steering fluid. It could also be a failed pump, but given the sudden nature of the failure....

Can you see where the leak is at??

My powersteering pump quit working while in the shop. What happened in this case was the pump shaft broke. It cost me about $350 if I remember correctly.
