If I were to buy lowering springs for my stang, I know it would be best to change the shocks as well, but is it absolutely necessary? I dont have much money and I'm looking to do it as cheap as possible..........Also, how easy/hard is it to swap out the springs (instructions)?

well you get what you pay for, and suspension is no exception. you can get springs alone, but if its too much of a drop chances are your stock shocks will blow out. save the money and do it right.

go to PPI's website, they have the "Bullitt" mustang spring kit for a reasonable price.

If u just buy the springs without changing the shocks then your basically just going for looks becuase your cars just going to bounce whenever you go over bumps, you need to change the shocks to get rid of the bouncy feeling, and if your going to lower the car more then 1.5 inches then definetly get the caster camber plates, Check out MaximumMotorsports.com they have kits from just lowering a car to full race suspensions like my car, check out my mods, if you want better handling then go with H&R race springs with bilstein shocks, if you want the better lowered look go with the H&R Super Sports or the Eibach Sportline kit
