On my 01 mustang, I wrecked it and the airbags deployed. Of course the airbag sensor is going off. Let me know if I'm correct....In order to turn the airbag light off, I need an airbag module from a car that the airbags did not deploy. Also, I fixed the passenger side airbag so it looks stock, but there is no airbag (which is what I want.) For the driver side, I will purchase an airbag, but do care if it is functioning. All I want is for the car to look stock and have no air bag light blinking. Please let me know what I am correct in as well as any additional steps I need to execute in order to achieve what want. I will be doing the work myself. Thank you all for your upcoming input and happy racing............=======}}}}}}

If you were going to replace both bags with good ones, yes, you would need a module from a car that had not been deployed. (or your module could be reset). BUT, since you aren't replacing the bags, I'm pretty sure the new module will sense that they aren't there (or are not functioning) and still blink. You could just take the airbag light out of the cluster and that will stop it.
