integera gauge faces???

I have a 90 teg LS and I want to get some reverse glow gauge faces. What I need to know is do I have to take the insturment cluster out to get that clear pastic protecter cover off or can I get it off to put the faces on easier?

its not hard on the newer honda's so I can't imagine it would be harder on the older models. Just take the plastic front cover, usually two screws on the under side of the top lip then pull it straight out then take off all the screws that hold the gauages in then remove the plugs from the back. They are all different sizes typically so dont worry about labeling them.
