Red is a switced power source. Black in the ground. Green in the Tach lead. White is the illumination wire.

The red wire can be run in line with the fuse box, or do like I did and splice it inline with the radio power wire, which is switched.

The ground is any good chassis ground you can find.

Green, tach lead needs to run to the negitive side of the ignition could.

White illumination wire can be wired into the fuse box on the headlight fuse, or the headlight switch itself.
