Question: 1989 oil filter location???

Can anyone tell me where the oil filter is on the 1989 S-10 4.3 v6?

I've been looking for it for an hour and can not find it???

From the top, look in the engine compartment at the drivers side fender toward the front of the truck. I have a '91 and I would assume the oil filter is in the same location, remotely mounted with oil lines running to the engine.

dont hold me to this but i think the filter on that year is on the drivers side rite behind the front wheel... look in the wheel well and there is a rubber flap there lift it and you should see the filter and that is the easiest way to change it also.
