Ok here is the deal. I own a base 3000gt and everyone and there moma says, " 3000lbs car man it cant do shit". Im seriously getting pissed. Stock my car has 222hp and 201lbs tourqe. This past weekend went to the track and ran a 14.8@94mph. I think thats pretty good. Im just tired of everyone thinking my car is slow.

thats because they are all stereotyping your car. no one takes the time to learn anything and they just assume everything.

Race them, if they back down tell them they can't say shit anymore since they wouldent allow you to defend your claims.... and they're pussies.

Man, they're prolly jealous, you have one of if not the best looking, pretty rare cars around, and could prolly spank the lot of em', and that quarter mile time isn't bad at all. So just becuase they're all "drinking the hate-or-ade" doesn't mean they're as good as you, don't sink to their level man.

14.8 is wicked good, best time I ever pulled off was like 15.5. either your an amazing driver or you got serious mods. so what have you done there chief?

Nesryn claimed a 14.9 stock or pretty close to stock...I forget which.

Anyway, 14.8 is plenty good. That puts you ahead of my friends old 98 Stang GT...and he had another 2 cylinders on you.

I get that all the time from my one friend who is almost 18 without his liscence, only a permit who owns a a Hyunda Tiberon with a body kit and a cold air intake. He says he will murder my stealth, (with him pushing about 140 HP) and he says that my car is so heavy and everything, well his car is like 2940 lbs plus with a body kit and shit, our cars are like 80 lbs difference. I cant wait until he gets his liscence, because he talks so much shit on his car because it has a body kit. Rather funny.. haha

Why would you care what they say about your car? If anything use that to your advantage...race for money and use all profits to add more stuff to your car :thumbsup:

I beleive regular Tiburons are around the 17 sec mark ;)

the new body style tiburons are fairly quick .... should be able to mid 15's with no problem... as for the 4 cyl tiburon's they probly run about 17s b/c my friend with an 02 civic runs 16.9 and beat a 4 cyl tiburon
