Hi,
I'm new at this forum, so please be gentle. I'm just started building a 1/12 Tamiya Caterham Seven. I'm also building a full-size Seven-kit, but as it's getting cold in the garage this time of year, I decided to start on a small one.....

I haven't build models in quite some time, and when I see the models some of you produce, I'm almost too scared to post my progress. But then again; I think I can learn a lot from your comments, so here goes:

I've sprayed the chassis, and mounted the (working) steering rack. I added a little detail by making metal straps around the steering rack gaitors. See pictures...

looks good so far! do you auto-cross? SCCA? just wondering since your building a 1:1 also. which 1:1 seven kit are you building? what engine/chassis are you using?
