Track video of my newPB: [email protected]

I added an Intercooler a few days ago and was able to test it at the track yesterday.
My best was a [email protected] with a 2.04 launch with the full exhaust/stock heads.

I am planning for 11s next time by dropping the exhaust, more boost/timing, and maybe slicks.

This was the best vid I could get, and the timeslip is on my webpage.

My previous best was 12.86@107 with a 2.0 60' but it pretty much ran consistent 13.0-13.2@106mph.

Wow that's sick. I'm glad I didn't keep the Evo, cause i'd never be able to keep up with you, without pumping in alot of cash. I think i'll stay around the mere mortals, and aim for low 13's whenever I get a Z06 cam put in. Good runs, and congrats. You're running faster then Martin was. BTW those tranny's are notoriously weak. You might want to hold off on getting the slicks.

I got the tranny situation taken care of with a full rebuild with alot of hardened parts. :) Input shaft, torque converter, flexplate, ext. So I should be good for a few 1.7 launches.

friggen A, had no idea those GTPs could be capable of so much...wow...I'd have to take out a second mortgage to run 12's, and you are doing it with what seems like basic upgrades...awesome.

that GTP sounds like a auto...and its decieving because the camera angle makes it look like its going slow...even tho he's runnin 12's...i mean damn...

It is an auto(4spd) with the tap shifters.

The fastest 97-04GTP with a turbo is 10.1
The fastest 97-04GTP with a M90(stock supercharger) is a 10.8
The fastest 97-04GTP with a CSC is a 10.9
The fastest 97-04GTP with a M90 and stock heads is 12.0(I plan to improve this record)

So they are pretty fast considering how long the cars have been out and how large the W-body aftermarket is(small).
