My wife pulled in to the store shut vehicle off, came bace out the truck will not start. It will not turn over, I can hear a click (sounds like starter being engaged) but no turn over. No problems or symptoms leading up to this.
She was tapped in the rear end yesterday, is there a fuel kill switch on the blazer that may need to be reset? If so where is it?

Check your battery voltage.
Chances are the alternator died and it was using the battery to fire the engine.
This only lasts for 10 minutes or so before the battery will be dead.
Check the voltage on the battery and come back here and tell me.

The voltage was ok. We tried jumping the truck last night just incae the batt was dead. It made no diffrence or change in symtoms.

Check your battery cables at the bolts especially the positive. The Delco batteries have a bad habit of leaking and corroding. The voltage will read good but will provide low amperage, no crank.
