No Radio

I have a 1990 Beretta that has a problem with the radio. The clock lights up, but the radio will not come on. Also, when you push the 'SET' button it will light up on the screen. Once, I got the radion to come on, but only that one time. The radio is built in with the cliamte controlls, so replacing it will probably be difficult. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem. Thanks!

check ALL fuses, the radio depends on several power sources.

If all the fuses seem to be good, you might trying getting in under the dash and looking at the back of the radio - the radio itself may have a fuse on the back that got burnt out, or it may even have wires leading to it with bad connections or grounds. You could check em out - they might be corroded.

Thanks so much. I went out there today and wiggled the power button. It took a couple minutes of trying, but sure enough it came on. It really sounds great once you manage to get it to turn on. Thanks!

Actually, once you take it apart, the radio and climate controls are seperate. Replacing the radio is not really a big deal. They are pretty easy to find at the salvage yards.
