repairing small hole in muffler

i have a small hole in my muffler how can fix it without taking it in

they have a putty that hardens you can use to fix holes. usually at auto part stores

no its a special putty for high heat

If the hole is on the end of muffler you're probably better off replacing it. If it's on the body get some pop rivets and sheetmetal.

pop rivets and sheet metal is not going to do it because exhaust will leak out the sides of the sheet metal anyways the stuff you ask for in the store is quick fix muffler putty

i'm assuming the small hole isn't the condensate drain on the muffler????
