HEY guys i have a 1986 4x4( got it because it's the same year as me) and i was thinking about upgrade the v-6 2.6 li to a V-8 pro from a 19923 Chevy caprice but i was wonderign before i add more money into it cause i'm already adding new brakes lines calippers, sanding it down interior but i was wondering if i could add a V-8 and still keep my 4X4 and what kind of transmission would i need of it was possible i want to make it my summer project so i'm a save up now till then to do it

its not as easy to keep the 4x4 but it is possible, but, remember, no one here said it was an 'easy' swap by any means
