Interior lighting

I need some help with my interior lighting. My dome light and map reading lights as well as the safty lights on the interior of the doors will not work suddenly. My daytime head lights have been out for a while but the dash lights and all exterior lights work fine. I acn not do anything to get the interior lights on and when i checked the fuse it appeared to be good. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

usually the wires that run under the carpet next to the drivers seat get corroded from moisture. it's also possible somethings wrong with the switch.
