help with dvd in dash

I just bought a INNOVATEK dvd in dash , and lcd screen in dash , I was hook up every thing right , and using it all day , but tonight at 11:00 pm I was take my girl friend out to go to the movie , we stop at a parking lot , then I try to turn off the engine but still leave the key on ( almost put on the dvd to "show up" my new dvd , BOOM it not working , so I was saying WTF so i pull the dvd off the dash and checking the fuse box it was blow , so my question is where can i find new fuse ? . thanks

hardware store, bestbuy, anywhere you can buy fuses.

might realy wanna ask what blew a brand new fuse...

you prolly messed up the install and have bad ground or power connections.

i have the same kind of dvd player, just change the fuse. You can find it at a hardware store.

I accident drop the fuse some where in my tranny ( i take all day , yes all day to look for that ) but no luck , so i dont know what kind of fuse i need , here is my link where i bought this dvd

WTF? You dropped it in your tranny? lol what? Just try to go back to the place you bought it from and ask them. And how could you possibly drop it in your tranny?

how do you guys like that DVD player? I know that it looks like not much as it is a pretty inexpensive unit. does it at least look half decent? I know that it is junk, but for the cash what do you say? I am just trying to get something that will hold me over. what all does it do? what does it not do? What all does that auction come with? I am curious...

Im pretty happy with it. the video picture is way better than expected, plus it comes with a tv tuner, and can play your burned dvds which is realy cool. but i got the 7in. instead of the 6 in. i think its better quality picture.

Its movable so you can angle it the way you like or if you just want it centered.

I dont have a fuse on it. That thing kept on blowing on me. I replaced it 7 times and didnt stop i tried everything. It would be ok for a little bit then it would blow in a few days. Im not quite sure what kind it was, but i found one that it may be it the numbers on it is F2AL250V not sure if thats for my dvd player or my screen. But i suggest you just cut the fuse part out, because its gonna blow again.

got it there, but i suggest you get 7in indash. Youll be much happier i have both 6in and 7in and i like 7in best the 6in is somewere around the house. Ive been meaning to put it on ebay. Thanks you guys reminded me.

thanks , BTW are you having hard time with the tramission , cause I a friend with the gs that had automatic , when ever he put to parking , the shift alway hit the screen, so he had to move the screen to the airbag.

yea i have to slide in the screen before i put it in park.

As well, how is it for powering your speakers? i think it said it was only 40x4, which is gay. so then the only other thing would be the pre-outs, how good are they? as well, can you buy just the screen on ebay as well? then i could buy a good dvd player with the right pre-outs and stuff and then just buy the cheap screen. i dunno, let me know what you think.

yea you can do that also if youd like, but im ok with 40x4. i have mined amped to a sub.

only 2-300? dang thats pretty good price if the quality is good. i might have to look into getting one of those.

yea thats why i just cut the fuse part out. i cut the box out and just connected the red wires together. Havent had a problem. Had it for months now.

Such as 3V 4V 5V, subwoofer out. So that you can run an amplifier. Like, how many and stuff....
