First of all, get a chilton manual on preludes. Second of all get a timing light. Find the sevice port connecter and disconect it, or put a jumper in. Whatever the book sais on that model. Find what base timing is supposed to be with engine warmed up(fan coming on twice). Loosen bolts on distributer and set timing accordingly. Also there may be two timing marks on the flywheel. I think its the red one. But again. Check the book, it will know for sure. O'Rielly auto parts carries Chilton manuals. Chilton manuals seem to be the best source of imformation that Im have seen.
I hoped this helped out some.
