Well, there are a lot of new people coming on here. And its nice to know who you are talking to. Introduce yourself... Include your age, car you drive and a few things about yourself(hobbies, ect...)

I'll start. My name is Cory. I'm eighteen. I drive a 92 Nissan 240sx SE. I love modifying cars. Have since I was about twelve. Just in the past few months, I have started to take it seriously though. I built my current car making $6 an hour so you can imagine that I don't really do anything else.

My name's Will and i'm 17. i just got a 98 Eclipse RS (dont laugh) last october and its not too bad of a car, but i cant complain considering i didnt buy it. i've been into cars every since i was a baby (i loved those old ass speed racer episodes) and the 240 was the first car i actually had serious ideas about modifying. uh, i play nfsu2 online pretty often, i play varsity baseball, and yea thats about it. as for a second car, right now its a toss up between a S13, kouki S14, or an Eclipse GSX.

Ryan, 20, 92 240sx se (fully loaded...), auto...... looking for second 240 5-speed. Work at chevy dealership as body man. Got 3 gs saved up for something dunno what car or house tuff decisions to make. This growing up shit sux. I dont want to be one of those kids who has a bomb ass ride but lives in his parents basement whahah so yea i wish i was in highschool again.

i am know as Matt (sometimes u), but that goes into different things. i will be 20 on sunday, or whatever the 19th of decemeber is. i own a '91 nissan 240sx se for about two years now. my cars name is Veronica. as much time as i spent with the car i felt i should named her. intially, when i first started driving (was 16 at that time) i told myself all i need is a car to drive me from point a to point b. that lasted for about 3 months. i think it is just in my blood. but i got hooked on about cars and nissan because of my brother. he showed me some of the cars he built and that got me excited about cars. then he let me borrow his 240 and i fell in love. i go to school for computer science, but cars are definitly a hobby.

what up, as most you can tell im new to the forums, but trying to help. Well my name is Be, i'm 17 about to 18 in Feb. I'm currently looking for a 240. Once i get my 240 i will perform the old famous SR20DET redtop, but leaning towards the blacktop because it will only cost 200 more and its a better set up from what i have researched. I know more than my basics in cars but always trying to learn more, i make sure im right before posting something and sounding like a jack@ss.

working on a lt-1 powered drag/street car(fast car that is halfway street legal lol) will probably be put into a s13, fc3s, or 80's Monte Carlo... 600hp, lightweight, drag slicks are the basic ingredients

might make a s13 for track/drift/street weekend car, possibly a topend built bottom end freshened up KA24det or a N/a ITB motor, something more for handling instead of ultimate power

I have a lot of projects and work on cars atleast 60 hours a week, other times im at the bar or sleeping

I'm Jonathan, 17, I got a 1991 Mercury Topaz, my car's name is the Shit-Mobile. I work at Canadian Tire, I live in Montreal, Canada, I hate the winter and I'm ganna try to buy an S13 this summer, if I don't find anything, I buy an S14 in a few years.

well im frank im 20 in january got a s14 95 (auto) trying 2 sell it so i can try 2 find a 5spd 92 or 93 and put the rest into reconstructing the whole engine block and upgrade the parts and try 2 do my ka-t car. i work at nordstrom i stay in L.A california making 8.50 an hour working 84 hours every 2 weeks but for now after x-mas im getting 40 or 50 hours. dont have much hobbies just reading car magz looking at new stuff for the 240

Hi everyone!
I’m Eddie (21), starving student at UCLA (biochem). i have a 89 240 se, SR20det blktp, boosting 11 lb + (suspension and bolt-ons). I work at school as a math tutor and lab research stuff. i used to work at sears but i left it (8 hrs day.... can't study with that). Now I’m working 28 hrs a week and it’s all good. 20hrs at the lab and 8 as a tutor... I love to drive my car on the canyons. i love the view at the canyons and the rush of the Gz.
I crashed my car 5 times (mainly trying to drift and taking corners fast!), but I hope that it will not happen again. I learned how to drive the hard way!
I like Soccer (I’m a starting Goalie or sometimes a forward left wing) i play in a league with many talented people.
I like to play the guitar (I'm OK) and fix up my computer.
I heat rice cars, love rice rockets.

Finally, i love chicks that drive stick shifts! Go figure?

hi name is Tat i'm 21 years old chinese guy from forest hills queens. i go to State university of new york Farmingdale school of technologys. i'm majoring in automotive engineering tech/managment

i work as a mechanic in speed world in the summer, and i work as a valet during school and i get to drive all kinds of cars such as M3's, Vettes, twin turbo supras, anything. our lot is big enough to fit 400 cars and we get an average of 300 cars a night so we got lot of variety.

anyways i drive a white S14 5speed with a KA-T. mod list is almost too long to list so i'll save you guys the time.

interest is arcades, cars, drinking, and anime, and my girl friend. ( not in that order )

lolz shes already taken. anyways out of curiousity what nationality is everyone here? i noticed thta alot of people whos into 240's are not asian at all. they're usually white, or spanish. i'm one of hte only asian person at the tri-state area meets. and theres like twenty 240's on average.

I'm chris, I'm 18 I drive a 1996 240SX with a redtop sr20 fully rebuilt with performance parts estimated horsepower is around 500. and I have a s15 conversion kit. Broke as hell cause I'm paying off all the loans for my motor and body. I live in New York and there is no where to race. I work at goodyear doing everything and my car is back in the body shop for awhile because my car was towed to a shop and the tow truck guy's wench broke and my car flew off and stratched the hell out the side of my car on a pole. I'll post pics when a get a camera to christmas hopefully.

Tyler, 15 will soon have my 97' 240sx s-14, looking forward to moding it out as much as i can(all my money is going to go into it). I live in Las Vegas Nevada and i just moved here(the weather is much better then minnesota i tell u what). Devin (nobody calls me that, they call me D-Bo), will be 21 in january. i got my 93 240 in july and love it! its in my driveway for the winter cause i think its stupid to drive them in the winter (i'm in ottawa, canada) cause of not only the rwd thing but the salt=rust issue. i'm half norwegian but look nothing like that, since i have relatives in guyana too. i'm working as a line cook at brad marsh's bar and grill (played for the ottawa senators, calgary flames, other teams in the nhl), new york fries once a week and i'm a dj two or three nights a week. i also play hockey for carleton university; we play some suny teams, other ontario university teams and some div 3 teams in new york and vermont. i plan on getting a new clutch, rebuilding my ka hopefully putting new internals while the engine is out, putting in the suspension thats sitting in my room and getting new tires by march, which is probably when she goes back on the road.

Brian, 19. currently driving a 1998 Pontiac Trans-Sport Montana for the winter months, but when the snow goes away my FC will come out to play.

for now it's stock with no motor but plans are leaning towards a turbocharged half-bridge 13B-NA, FMIC, aluminum underdrives, lightweight flywheel etc. etc. suspension will probably come first though.

im chris, i live in sh*t hole terre haute indiana, where teh snow trucks throw mountains of salt on teh road cause their sucky. i had an 86 300zx turbo, but a pizza guy hit it, totalled it, and i sold it for what it was worth, and with the insurance money, bought my second 91 240sx se. this one is dark red. im going 180sx with it, and rb25 in teh spring. im 22 and am in my last year at rose-hulman inst. of tech for mechanical engineering.

My first 240 was the same as one i have now, but white, and hicas(the one in my avatar). as soon as i get a new cable for my camera i will upload some pics of the new car, and yadayadayada.

yes there is a HMV store in Mahattan at 42 nd street time square. its pretty close to the Virgin mega store which is also right off boardway and time square.

hi my name is jesse, I'm 23 and drove (engine died) a 1992 240sx coupe. Love the car and I'm waiting for tax returns for the engine rebuild and turbo. lots of mods done to it but now its getting turned into my play car. (since I curently own 3 other veh.) I'm a production supervisor and make a little over 30,000 a year and have two kids, a dog, cats, and fish...average white guy. been around the world in the navy and love nissans. (I was stationed in japan and my girl drove a skyline) that about it

This is my fourth car, and I think I finally got what I was lokkin' for. After driving two hondas, I realized that "wrong wheel drive" isn't the way to go! I have much more fun driving my 240 than any of my old cars.

Man i havent been on here for like a week damn this forums just goes crazy i tell you what, oh and i love the 240's but my uncle suggested i get a new if not afew years old Acura Rsx i think there pretty kewl but can any of you talk me out of it? besides the obvious pros like its a new car, better mileage but is it really guna b a easy tuned ride9 i love the 240's tho so its a hard ass choice

Darin 19 i live in sunny Fl so we can drive our cars in the winter and not worry about destroying our body from salt HAHAHA but the sun fades our paint you win some u lose some. i drice a drop top s13 w/ s13 front end conversion. sr20 swap no upgrades except for a competition clutch and aluminum flywheel it being put in as we speak ill tell you guys how i like it in a few days. now im a broke college studnet and have no money for any more upgrades so i hate rich kids right now whos parents give them money to make there car "cooler"

lol im glad we had this talk he says whahhah funny. Thats cool man you sport the convertible with conversion. Post pics man id love to see your ride. I actually like conversioned convertables lol (new tounge twister there). Actually thats the only way i could drive a convertable 240.

And import bloom. Take the rsx in a parking lot and drift. Then take the 240sx in the SAME parking lot and drift. Your mind should be pretty much made up then. Tell your uncle to say nismo 3 times and tap his heals together. Plus how much does this rsx cost? im sure a 2.5 grand 240 with another 2-3 grand spent on it will satisfy you over a rsx. Honestly i hate the dc5 integra and would never buy one, i think there fugly as hell inside and out.

I think it looks good, and like every other Honda/Acura you can modify til you drop. But FWD still sucks. I'm sure it has a great tranny though.

I'm glad I don't have to deal with the salt of up north or the beating sun of Florida. but 240s are difficult to find around here, dove to Texas to get mine and my dad flew to New York to get his. anyway, my uncle got me into 240s cause he had one and showed me how cool they were and i've been somewhat obsessed ever since.

Clark, 20, New York. I have been into the nissan research for a while. It all started with the 300zx. Then went on to KAs and SRs from the 240sx and silvia series. Then I became more fond of the KA. I know more facts about the KA because one day I came to the conclusion that 2.4 liters is better than 2 and iron blocks tend to like forced induction. My sig explains the rest.

I have a 91 coupe w/ redtop. It's a dailydriver/drift/roadrace/drag/autox/rally but it's built mostly for shows and I dont drive it. No im jk, I only use it to get groceries.

Well, its just my opinion but if you ever saw how many people are designing parts for a KA now, you would be suprised. The KA almost has enough parts to become bullet proof.

i wouldnt be suprised because i have seen the parts coming out for them but i dont care cause i like my red top ur KA is kind of pretty though i like the light blue valve cover it reminds me of a smurf for some reason when i look at it

Know a lot of people that buy and sell wrecked cars, so can get an s14 with say 100000 miles and $600 worth of damage for under $2200 so this is were my family gets cars. Planning on becoming an automechanic in the future.

I don't think anyone is selling a 240sx here. Why a wrecked one. Get one with slight body damage and a couple under the hood easy fixer problems. Even if you found one for that price, it would be hard to get one because everyone wants to get 240sxs.

Trust me there are plenty of 240 s here, here is the website http://www.verastar.com/AutoFind.aspwww.verastar.com , look for nissan in there. I am pretty sure you will find a 240 with a slight damage quit easily. There was one with s14 sr20det, but really messed us, even the engine was fuked.

name's Dan... 19.. currently attending penn state university (2nd year). I'm full japanese... raised in hawaii... hence, people look at me weird in PA. i drive a 93 240sx fastback 5-spd. Engine is left stock, but i am using my money to "restore" the car back to a decent condition so i can start some serious modding. interested in a swap since the ka has 180k+ miles on it... (yea i know... it's been places).

Besides driving my car... i luv the beach... bodyboarding is the shit. i shoot pool, bowl, and play hockey. japanese street racing culture is where my heart lies and i dislike american style "import" scenes... (ricey-ness is a no-no). Other than that i think it's mad hot when i meet a girl that knows how to drive stick. oh and i have mucho respect for people who appreciate cars for it's performance regardless of how it looks and how much it costs.
