Cat... removed

Hey ... just wondering if I remove the Cat from my 94 Sunbird if it will cause more problems. I beleive it is plugged cause it smells like Rotten eggs and reading some of the other posts thats what they smell like when they get dirty. Just curiouse if anyone has done it. It is bolted in so should not be that hard to do :) thanks
