broken doors

i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix doors. my drivers side dorr will not lock, and the pull rod for the door handle mechanism on my passenger side is out of place and i cant tell where it goes, or how to get it back in so it will work. if anyone could offer advice or help it would be greatly appreciated! thanks

jsut a thought a guy i know installs car audio and he has had a lot of panels off if you know anybody like this ask them
