I have a f350 powerstroke 1999. I want to install driving lights and fog lights. There are three wires coming out of wire harness through the fire will marked as customer additional equipment. I cannot seem to get any power to any of these wires.. Help! please! or a suggestion as to how to power driving lights and fog lights. Prefer them to be seperate switched. Manual says the main light switch can be pulled to operate fog or driving lights. Thank you very much!!! Jerry

The wires out the front of the fire wall that you are referring to are probably the trailer brake wires that Ford puts there for easy install. The headlamp switch pulls out on trucks with the factory installed fog lamps. The best way to add lights is to run a power wire from the battery to a relay (mount on inside of fender), then run a wire from the relay to a switch you install on dash, and then to the lights. The system will ground out through the frame. There will be a basic wiring diagram on the back of the relay package.

if you want a wiring diagram go to http://www.classictruckshop.com/clubs/earlyburbs/projects/bosch/foglites.htm highligh copy and put into address bar the only thing i'd change if you can would be that the power going to the relay which is term. 30 make it come straight off the alt. that way there is less drain from your battery.
