2000 Ford Contour rattling noise

hey i'm hearing a rattling sound coming from the front of my car, also it just started bucking and attempting to stall out but catches itself, it only does it when i come to a stop and sometimes when turning. Any ideas what it might be?? :confused:

the rattling hasn't become consistent however, it comes and goes, the longer i drive but slower in speed you can hear it, the faster i drive it dies but starts again as i begin accelerating again.

can you tell where the rattling is coming from in the front of the car?

from the sound in the middle around the engine..it has been steadingly getting louder and the car attempts to turn off when i make a turn uphill or while slowing down, i think there may be multiple issues here, I'm going to drop it off at the dealership, my warranty cover engine and transmission problems.

Is it an auto?

i have a 97 ford contour v6, makes a rattling noise but only when i start to have to change gears, but as soon as i change the gear the sound goes away, also when i first start my car and take off and make a stop it seems to want to stall out but then goes right back to idealing to where it was suppose to. I have a stick shift

check the plating by the exohst mine was loose and bounsing
