Installation prob

ok i was wondering what the mounting depth was for the front door speakers on an 89 fastback? any help would be greatly appreciated.

by mounting depth, you mean the distance between teh mounting surface, and the inner door panel right? like the deepest speaker you could fit in the factory slot? probably the easiest way is to pop off the cover, unscrew teh factory one, and whip out a ruler. i have to do this soon to rewire my stereo, its a 1991, but their prolly teh same, if i get around to it, ill measure it.

yea i am just wondering if i can go with the kappa perfect components in the cor or if they will get in teh way of the window rolling down...

oh yea btw my 240sx has 6.5 inch speakers up front
