Heater

I am also looking into the heater on my '92 grand voyager (3.3L). The heat is just about warm - certainly not hot.

I have noticed what look like 2 bleed valves under the bonnet, one at the front next to the radiator and one at the back (by the bulkhead) next to a control box of sorts.

Are these bleed valves for the cooling system and if so, how do I use them (I think I let the engine heat up then slowly release them until no bubbles appear - just fluid)

Any other suggestions for a lousy heater (if it is connected, the air-con has never worked properly, it never got 'cold', again just warm)

Change the thermostat. It sounds like the one you have is stuck open. Leave the bleed valves alone!
