95 or 96 avalon stereo help

I need someone tell me how to remove the stereo for an avalon. I went to carstereohelp.com, and now you have to pay for it. and i don't want to pay for it. IF someone could help me out plz. THX

Without seeing your particular setup, I can only advise you that most of these units are held together using plastic clips, with some screws here and there.

You may need to remove your center console, though I'd try to work around that. Start by tring to pry off the facia (wood-grained part) surrounding the stereo, using a screwdriver with some tape covering the end to prevent scratches. Pry gently to avoid breaking it. More than likely, it will pop off one clip at a time.

I suspect that behind that facia you'll find some screws holding the stereo in place.
