if u absoluly need A/C then take it to a muffler shop and have them bend a pipe to go around it, i wouldnt use rubber because it may not hold that much pressure.

Got 2 More Questions. What Is An Inexpensive But Good 310 F/injectors? Do I Need A Wastegate To Run My Turbo? Thanks

and if u need to ask about whether you need certain parts or not you probably should install it yourself, buy a ready made kit and have installed by a shop.

hmmmmmmmmmm, interesting question, im just curious, why dont you tell us what you have first, and what the application is for.

Before you put the anything on, ask yourself, what is the wastegate for, and why is it important.

Yea I Hear Rc Injectors Are Good But They Are Expensive I Thought.. Well I Am Installing The Kit Myself. Actually To Be Specific On The Wastegate There Is A Flange On The Side Of The W/g For A Pipe To Go Out And Was Asking If I Could Just Weld A Cap On It Or Run A Pipe From It To My Exhaust?

Ok I Guess I Am Goin To Get A Set Of Rc Injectors But Now I Dunno What Number Cc To Get. I Read In Honda Tuner That 310cc Was A Perfect Size Anything Larger I Would Have To Program My Ecu. Is That True?

:disappoin Don't do it man. Just sell the stuff you have and buy a new engine. you NEED a wastegate. You will NEED bigger injectors.
What are you running for engine managment? Hondata, Uberdata, AFC, FMU? What motor are you using, what turbo are you using, how much boost are you doing, how much hp are you looking for???

But for the piping get one of those black flexable pipes off of a '95-'99 Eclipse GST. My buddy has one that he uses on his civic, and it holds boost very well.

concerning the other flange you are talking about on the wastegate, DO NOT CAP IT! REMEMBER, the wastegate controls the boost levels by letting the exhaust gases bypass the turbo. You can vent it into the atmosphere or make a dump tube to the downpipe. the advantage of venting it in the atmosphere (under your hood) is that there is no extra backpressure into the exhaust flow, but, it is considerably louder. also you have extra hot gases under your hood by not using a dumptube. you can make a dumptube from the flange on the wastegate down to the downpipe. the advantage of this is that it is quieter. to minimize backpressure using the dumptube, make sure the dumptube is at least 18 inches away from the turbo itself. you also want to make sure that the gases in the dumptube can flow as freely as it can into the downpipe, so, make sure you minimize 90 degree turns on the downpipe. 1.5 piping should do it.

You say you want to get some RC 310s, but, what are you using to control them???? If you dont have much money and cant afford the hondata or get the uberdata, a cheap and effective way of controling your fuel would be to go with some 450cc injectors from the 90-99 turbocharged DSMs and the Apex- SAFC or VAFC. For just the price of the RC 310s, you can get both the injectors and the unit to control them. You can run this safely until you can afford the standalone engine management.

Concerning the intercooler piping issues (also the dumptube), custom your own. you just need some creativity and materials to prep on. you can take it to the exhaust shop to finish or weld em yourself if you have a welder. 2.25 piping should do it (just make sure its not too big and not too small). I personally would never use rubber hose for piping issues (maybe only in unique cases).

Heres a few links for your piping, gasket, and flange materials.

You should do a little more research before under taking your turbo project. Wouldnt it just suck if you start it up and something crapped on you? Remember, do it right the first time.

I Am Researching About My Turbo Thats Why I Come Here To Ask Questions And Get Info, Even If Someone Else Already Asked The Same Question.. Anyways I Have A Vafc But I Wasn't Sure If I Needed Anything Else For A Bigger Cc Injector.. I Will Route All The Piping To Go Around My A/c. Tying In The D/tube And The D/pipe Shouldn't Be A Problem. Ok Thanks Alot For The Websites They Will Be A Big Help...

Just do the AFC Hack until you get a better engine management. And make sure you have a boost gauge and watch the air/fuel mixture. Here's a link about the hack: http://www.turbod16.com/viewtopic.php?t=2118

If you're going to use the AFC (S or V), go with 440cc injectors instead of the 310s. They're the same price and you'll be safe up to around 16psi with them. Also, the 440cc from RC or DSM 450cc is the largest you can use with the hack - you can't trim enough fuel out on the AFC with 550cc injectors.

As for the wastegate, the type you use it dependent on the turbo you get. A lot of the Garrett models have integral wastegates, unlike some others which require you to purchase an external one such as a Tial. Albeit the Tial will regulate pressure better than an integral wastegate, you probably won't have any problems using an integral wastegate T3/T04 for levels under 20psi.
