That's on the slickrock bike trail right outside Moab, Utah. Its one hell of a trail, something like 10 or 15 miles long in the middle of the desert, with nothing but steep uphill or downhill. The flat spots are short and sandy, so you have to carry your bike through rather than ride it. Brutal and hot. And yeah, thats a pool of water at the bottom of the picture.
