WTF? You think they all of the sudden started putting Bass in songs after 1997? Know your history, "bro". The 808, one of the first synthesizers used to make insane bass heavy drum loops, was in use as early as 1988.

Where I live, everybody and their brother (and cousin) bumps Eminem, Jay-Z , and the other lily ass MTV crap, so the only way to stand out is to play old school or underground rap.

Mike Jones is cool, i like his album, but Chamillionaire still has sicker rapping skills than Jones does. But im also biased b/c i went to school with Paul and Chamillion and saw them at the beginning of their careers rapping at lunch.

I agree. His rhymes are pretty catchy. But I am starting to get tired of him continually saying "Mike Jones". My friend use to hang with Paul and runs into him here and there and says he's still nice as hell. Heard a song on 97.9 tonight with Chamillion, Paul and Flip called "True" i believe is what it was called. Not sure how new of a song it is, but it was pretty sweet. Slim Thugs albums gonna be hot. He's got Jay-Z, TI(he gives a shot out to ESG and Paul Wall in the song), Bun B and produced by Pharell and Neptunes. So you know its gonna be good.
