Integra Questions (Timing Belt, etc)

I have a 1996 Acura Integra LS. I have 115,000 miles on it, and it runs great.

Questions:

--Recently, when I start my car, I notice a humming noise while its sitting idle, especially when I first start it in the morning. Its not a good humming, like a whiny humming..i don't know how else to explain it. Also, I have noticed my MainReqd light flashing 10 or 11 times when it fist starts, is this normal, maybe related?

--I need to have the timing belt replaced, I know this and am finally getting serious about doing it. I am buying an OEM kit with water pump included off Ebay. Is there anything else I should have done while doing this? A mechanic suggested changing the Cam seals and the crank seal. Is this necessary? Good idea? Also it was suggested that i get an anti-freeze flush. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting hosed here.

--Also, Im getting OEM parts for the timing belt and water pump, but is it ok to get aftermarket seasl? Or is that a bad idea? there is a guy on Ebay offering both cam seals and a front crank seal for $6+ shipping, but they are new aftermarket. Should I do it?

Thanks for any and all help guys.

Welcome to the boards!
The maint. required light is normal, all you have to do is reach under the dash on the right side of the steering wheel and you will feel a box. There will be a button on the end of the box, press that in and hold it for a few seconds until the light goes out. Note do not drive the car before doing this, if you do it will not reset, just turn the ignition on and the press the button.
Yes you should replace the front and rear camshaft seals there are two front seals and one rear seal. And yes you should replace the front crankshaft seal as well. IMO for the little price difference I would go with the OEM seals. ANd yes it would be a good idea to get the coolant flushed and refilled, also if the tranny fluid has not been changed in the past 30K miles change that as well.

Thanks for the help! I am being told that the Integra only has 2 cam seals, but you are saying there are 3. Which is correct? I have an LS w/o a VTEC.

2 cam shaft seals by cam gear and 1 seal on exhaust side cam(left) the seal goes around a plastic plug.
