Engine Size?

Just out of curosity...what is the biggest size engine that i could put in my truck with out frame or body modification? (K-1500 with a 350) oh and also what tranny do i most likely have in it now?

I would say you have a turbo 350 tranny(good all around A/T) and the biggest engine (stock) is probably a 454. To pass smog in Cal. you have to have an engine that was originally equipped in your vehicle for that year. If you are not worried about smog I would say the sky is the limit, I would go 502!!

Your truck has a 4L60E in it. You can get the 400 small block in without modification. 454 will need some mods done to the frame.
