I own a 2000 pontiac ta, ls1, 6spd man. I have the slp cold air intake with mass airflow sensor, flowmaster cat-back exhaust and a jet chip for performance upgrades. I was inquiring about the spiral max because it is cheap ($59.95) and some say it is a great improvement for fuel economy and hp gains. Others say it is just a piece of shit! I was wondering if any of you have anything to say about this product. My friend installed one in his 2000 camaro ls1 and said it worked however I've never driven the car or seen the spiral max in action. The product offers a 30day money back guarantee so I'm thinking I should just give it a whirl, no pun! Please reply!!!!

i think they are great for cars that arent driven hard. if you do alot of around town driving at low speeds then it should be pretty good, it makes sence that it would help spin the air. but once you hit the gas hard it will impead the air going into the motor. so if you like spirited driving dont bother

my autn has one in her 3.5 pathfinder. she likes it. not much of a performance upgrade but she did notice 2 mpg difference when she drove a 100 mile trip right when she installed it

Hey don't spend the $59.95, I'll sell you one for $5.00  . Which color do you want? I have Sunkist orange, Mountain Dew green, Pepsi blue, and Coca Cola red. You'll have to give me a minute to finish the drink off. :lol2:
But in all seriousness, I don't really think there all that effective. You could throw out an extra $60 and buy one of those electric blow dryers that they try and tag off as a turbo. But hey, I guess you won't really know until you try it. If you do, lets us know if you've noticed anything.
