Help with 1J2GTTE swap??

My brother is about to buy a JDM engine for a swap in his 86 Supra, and he needs a little help on what type of swap instructions will be needed. He is not sure what he can use from his existing engine and what he will need to do a successful swap. He mentioned something about "intake 3 supra" if this means anything. This is his first time doing it, any recommendations, tips and help would be highly appreciated.

You're going to have to be much more specific if you plan on getting any kind of help online. What kind of Supra does he have exactly, an 86 (MKII) or an 86.5 (MKIII)? What kind of swap is he doing exactly, a 1jz-GTE (twin turbo DOES NOT mean is gets "TT") or a 2jz-gte? This is his first engine swap and he's trying to do something as complicated as a 1jz swap?

He told me its an 86.5 (MKIII). He is doing a 1jz-GTE swap. This would be his first engine swap. Hope this helps. Any other specific questions you have, i will pass onto him to get more info back to you.
