91 SR engine

Hey i have a 1991 Honda Prelude SR but the motor's toast and i was just wondering what its called so i can order a new one from Japan or something...also and powerful swaps would help me out also...thanks

You want to get a JDM "B20A" for a 3rd generation Prelude. NippinMotors sells them, but I'm not sure about them because you are in Canada, but definately give them a call.

There are no powerful swaps you would want to undertake. The h22a swap is very complicating and costs a lot of money, and all for only 60 more hp.

I just dropped my B20a in yesterday. I bought it from a seller on ebay. I didnt buy it through an auction. I called-paypal'd the money and in 4 working days I had the motor. They are in NY here is the contact info.

If i'm correct u can also get a "B21A1" which has like 5 more HP...I had a '91 Si..with this engine...

So there isn't any good direct bolt up swaps for this model?

The JDM B20a or B21 are the only dirrect drop in. the b20a is 11 more horse than the b20a5. not sure about the b21. But there are more aftermarket parts for the b21
