engines and frames

i have a 1952 gmc 228 engine and a 1968 gmc 307 engine both 3/4 ton vehicles. can i modify the 307 with a donor vehicle such as a iroc camaro fuel injection system or should i use the iroc engine for the 52. Also would the iroc front clip modify to this 1952 frame or should i just go with buying a front clip from morrisey. looking to get the best bang for the buck. are the mileage differences very little between the 307 and the 305 iroc look forward to your responses
