isnt that a bit expensive?! Heck if I could afford the car id be rich enough not to care about that price.

If someone can afford a GT then they might as well charge alot because they know they have alot of money. The company that installs that stuff probley pockets a good deal of it.

christ for 14k(including the purchase) i can buy an escort and run 11's wtf
if i spent 24k on a car that already ran 11's i'd want 9's

Comparing a $150k+ performance car with a drag racer... :grinno:

If Ford wanted to build a car that can do a 6-second quarter mile, trust me, they know how to, there's a real good reason why this isn't one, think hard for this now...

That's the company that was selling what was supposed to be hopped-up Vipers, but were instead slightly moddedd turds.
650hp from a 'charged v-8, sounds like another turd to me. 750 to 800 should be obtainable for less than that.
4 weeks for completition? More like 1 day for install and 29 days of road testing.

There's only one problem with that. You'd still be driving an Escort.

Well actually two problems, you're going to need a second vehicle to tow the escort around while its broken down (50% of the time).

   I've seen GT's with pulley upgrades making over 500whp stock and 550+whp with just a tune. And upgrades are available much cheaper than this, by more than half of that price. They claim 650hp for $24,500!!!, to get 130hp more (500+130=630hp) (550+130=680hp) it's only $4495 or $5500 installed!!!:iceslolan
