intermitten wipers?

I have a 95 Passport and everything is coming along nicely. A few months back I took it to the carwash, afterwards the intermitten setting on the wipers freaked out and now it doesn't work. Low and high, both work fine, but the intermitten doesnt. Also my vehicle is equiped with cruise control, when i try to engage it, I hear the "click" but nothing picks up. It is like it is not hooked up or something. I checked fuses and nothing gives, any help is appreciated.
