This thread is dedicated to things people have rigged up in there car that would make the executives at GM proud or Xzibit bash on u.
In my car I used toggle anchors to hold the arm rest up.Its a lot stronger than those flimsy plastic ones the factory used and u cant tell the difference.
A ghetto mcguyver I got is that I have 2 pillows stuffed between the drivers seat and backseat to keep the drivers seat up while I drive. My fat ass friend sat in it and stripped out the gears.

I put oversized front and rear springs and air shocks in back,so i could launch railroad tracks.when i had the 275 60's all the way around,it was nice and cushy and a curb wasnt nothin to drive over

well knight rider prolly did more to his than i do to mine.kinda like on dukes of hazard.they launch them, and you see them get totalled out on the landing,or when they play bumper cars, and get all smashed up.All the sudden they cut to a different angle, and the car is perfect once again

Ghettoest thing in my bird? I have aftermarket t-tops, which are smaller than the real deal, so I have cut and measured pieces of spray-painted cardboard velcroed to them to block the sun. And dont even ask about the copper pipe job I did after cutting the hoses from the heater core...I actually had to learn how to sweat copper pipes together in order to make them...

Well, for starters, plants and trees use the sunlight they have gathered in to continue the process of photosynthesis, which converts carbon dioxide in breathable oxygen...oh, you meant what happens to my car?
Well, not too much, since the cardboard is inside :p

When I got my first car, I blew the main dash fuese panel installing (improperly) my first stereo system. I wound up bypassig the whole fuse block and more or less hard wiring the stereo up...hope whoever has that car now never shorts anything in that circuit.

On my old dodge I put in an aftermarket intake system in it but after I did I realized that the stock intake system pulled air over the emu and it would overheat with out it so I rigged a computer fan to the side of the old air duct to pull air over it. I also had zip-ties and wood screws holding the fan to the radiator.

The pos ford tempo I used to have the radiator fan wasnt getting any juice. So I connected directly to the battery, the downside was that I had to open the to connect it and disconnect every time I drove, until one day I ran a switchleg into the cabin and then I could operate the fan from inside with a toggle switch while I was driving.
