roots supercharger

lookin to put a supercharger on my '97 Z28 and have been lookin around and have found only centrifical superchargers for the LT1 yet for the LS1 there are both centrifical and roots style superchargers. I was wondering if any of you guys had seen or know if anyone makes a roots style for the LT1.

I don't really know but u might want to try weiand and paxton. But centriical is the way to go unless u just want the look of a roots blower.

what is a roots blower? never heard anything called that

you may have heard it called a twin screw, they look kinda the same and i wouldn't mind one of those either but they're a little diffeent. it's pretty much just like the old school 6-71 blowers and such, the ls1 has these types of superchargers ( a twin screw i beleive) out for them- i think lingenfelter uses them but not sure.... anyway, mustangs are also very prone to use them....
