Playboy? any suggestions?

I keep finding my 5 year old brother looking at my playboys. When I catch him he just covers his face and lays on the ground. what should I tell him when I catch him again? I don't know what to say because I use to do the same thing at his age but I never was embarrassed about it. Don't want to tell mama dukes' cuz it'll get us both in trouble. I don't think I can hide them all, there in many rooms.

I have to say he picks the good ones last one was brooke burke. So i wasn't sure to tell him its wrong and hes too young or complement him on his taste?

Get a girlfriend and be done with it.

I've got to many. my mom gave my huge box and my pops gave my another. and then i have the ones i bought. also, i don't know where they all are everyone reads them so they are all over the house(not out on tables)

Yeah, just tell your bro he is too young, and he is going to grow up to be a fine play-boy-ologist, but not yet. Then show him a car. It'll take his mind off it for a while. Again, collect all the ones you can, and keep them in one locked place.

the only room i can put them in is my room but when its locked all you have to do is push on it to open it. he is a good locksmith-locks on doors are the ones with the little hole in the middle. I've seen him use a small screw driver,paperclips,and bobby pins. never underestimate a five year old that has three older male influences.

yea i was going to say what falconsrock said, 5 years old can't be that tall. Put it on top of a shelf or something. That or get rid of some of those mags, do you really need that many? Throw a bunch out and keep what is managable and hidable.

i see no problem w/ his curiosity. a book i'm reading talks about how we should allow our children to explore b/c it's part of their "whole self" and who they become later in life. telling him he can't look at them only makes him want to look even more. teching him to respect what he's looking at is the key.

i'm not a pshychologist but i'm sure many could agrue the dangers and the positives.

i say let him explore and talk with him about respecting women and tech him that the body is a beautiful thing and don't make him feel bad about what he's doing..

Definitely 5 is a little young to be looking at Playboy, but I agree with hotgrlzracin that he should be taught that bodies are ok, etc etc. But this is also an opportunity to teach the little fella that while bodies are ok, you keep your clothes on outside the house, etc.

at least it's playboy, a semi tasteful nudie mag. if it was something really raunchy like hustler or something graphic like that, i'd say to worry a little bit. but, I agree with hotgrlz, let him look, maybe he'll be more mature about the female body once he hits puberty as a result of it.

Good point BP. He may be taking them because it gets him some attention and he wants to be more grown up. You could give him one of the tamer ones to be his; once he has one and it's not taboo any more, he may just leave the rest alone.

Theres nothing you can do except get a lockbox or something. I remember when I was a kid my friends and I used to scour our houses looking for porn. So I'm guessing no matter where you hide them he will prolly find them. Lock em up, the Playboys that is.

I hope this thread is bullshit but if not your family is screwed up. I hope someone notices what's going on in your household and reports your family to SRS or your local police department. If a five year old is given open access to porn it is considered child molestation. It's not my place to judge but I'm going to anyway and that's my :2cents:

i think people are taking this way too serious. he said they're all over the house (probably a slight exaggeration to prove his point about how hard it is to hide from his brother) and he made it a point to say they aren't all over the tables or anything, so i'm not sure why you guys are saying his whole family is screwed up, and there is porn EVERYWHERE, and someone should report his family to SRS. klone, just put them in a place where he wouldn't even think to look and consider putting a lock on your door, because a kid rummaging through my room all the time would get annoying pretty quick!

i knew a kid in hs who seriously had porn mags stashed everyone downstairs...you could reach under the couch, table, anything and find porn. i never went back there again.

The playboys are not layin out! They are in many rooms but you wouldn't find any unless you were lookin for them. (you know how sneaky lil kids are) I got this handled now, got my older sis to talk to him and I've got him workin on my car when we are the only ones around.
