dashboard brake light

Hello,
We have a 1993 Ford Probe GT. I was wondering if anyone could tell me why my brake light on the dash would be coming on. It comes on when I push the brake pedal down. We recently had the master cylinder and slave cylinder replaced.

I had the same problem in mine and found out the brake fluid was a little low. May want to check and fill, it could be a simple fix.

im having the same prob but the fluid is fine i even put new pads on and the light still comes on sometimes i can hear a buzzing sound ,like a pump would make

As for 96probeGT it is probably your break booster it is the big round thing that your master cylinder comes out of. As for SantAnger does your car have any symptoms? is the light all that comes on?
