McLaren F1

anyone got one of these? I saw 1:18 for sale on a website before... they look sweet
i dont want to say the website. they have a limited number of them

What brand? I have a Maisto and UT Model. The UT Model is probably one of the most sought after ones there is. Unfortunately sometime back my display case fell off the wall and slightly damaged my UT version. At least it can still look un-broken.

Collectible Diecast has the Maisto F1. It's not that rare, you're not hiding a goldmine dan. The Maisto F1 is average quality and was produced in large numbers so you can find it for around 25-30 bucks. I would grab one because they will become rarer.

I havent seen one yet......

Well i just bought a Mercedes CLK-GTR and thats practiclly a Mclaren

McLaren F1 is the car that's the most sought after...
You see astronomic amounts of money spent on some MIB ones,
through ebay, especially for the UT models.
I do have 1 Maisto and 1 Guiloy(modified). Still looking for some used UT model, whether in the street version or the very rare Papaya orange LM version.

It's true that you should buy one now that you can before it becomes rare too...

I watched as models sold for $175, $190, over $200 and I had all but given up of searching

dont worry about ur miasto mclaren, cuz it's the UT F1 (orange street car) that is rare. maybe it has something to do with the company going out of business

u right, jay only got a street car but not the LM. i read about this frank guy elsewhere and that is his LM in those pics. he must be a real playrz to get 2 street cars and a LM in his collection. :sunglasse

even if u can come up with a few millions, u couldnt get one anyway. as i understand, there are only 5 LM in the world and they are only sold to those who already owned a street version. that is if you can connect with a broker and seller of that LM and then out bid several other billionairs....LOL :eek7: :iceslolan

i'm a McLaren Fan and i have recently(or should i say finally) bought the Orange Papaya LM one. What a great model.
It's only weak point is the door hinges that are very fragile.
I have even bought another extra one that i sold 2 days later for 30bucks more...

I personnaly think that the most exotic/fast/expensive cvar in the world will always be the McLaren. Even the very famous Bugatti will not be compared to the McLaren's fame and reputation.
Note that the new Saleen S7 just came up with the TT(twin turbo) version boosting 750HP...BUT BUT BUT the McLaren stil beats them all...
I'm waiting for the Lottery 20Million to start looking for an F1...
So get ready guys...i'm coming to get your car soon...
