LOL :D at least sell an upgraded one, not a downgraded one with a diesel/vegetable oil burner! We don't burn rice anymore, we burn vegetables!
I'd buy the geo just for the body, and tell him to give me the old engine so i can turn it into a gokart :)

Well, he said that he drove it for 4 hours on one gallon of gas? at 60 mph, that's 240 mpg!!! I want one as a daily driver, insurance will be like $70/month for a metro, and I can drive for a week for $3 in gas.

That's stupid. Did anyone else hear about the conversion kit you can buy for a diesel VW, where it will run on used vegtable oil? Apparently it runs cleaner, gives you better gas mileage, and offers the same performance as regular diesel gas. I saw an article in a local news paper about it. You can go to a restaraunt and ask them for their used vegy oil and they will usually give it to you for free, because they have to pay to dispose of it. Pretty damn interesting if you ask me. And a hell of a lot better than some dinky 10hp motor.

Most diesel engines are far superior to gasoline engines in the long term as far as durability and reliablity is concerned. Diesel trucks have an average rebuild life of over a million miles. There not much for performance though.

have u seen the show "trucks"? they always do diesel performance on there, with stuff like propane injection, electrical upgrades etc... this one product took about half hour for him to install and went from a 17.9 1/4 mile time to a 15.3 in a big diesel pick up
i was impressed

reply:
Hello,
Gosh, what a great question!!
Engine "swap" kits normally run from around $500 (just for a flywheel
adapter), to around $2500. If you read the rest of the auction
description, you can read what is included. (I can tell you have NOT
bought any 3/8" T6063 plate aluminum lately, and/or read the complete
auction description, or you would not be questioning the price, OR
asking what is included!!)
Sincerely,
Joel
