im looking into a taillight conversion for a crx, i like those afterburner lights http://members.lycos.nl/hendrik/crxproto/cyber.htm but i was wanting to do one lite on both sides and cut out a design instead of a circle. does anyone know how to make the afterburner lights or if blackouts are made for a crx.

If you want some DIY blackouts, buy some VHT Nightshades tint spray. I ordered mine from my local mod shop for $5 a can. Its easy to use if you know anything about spraypainting and won't rub off or fade. Plus, if you want to, you can use some masking tape to design whatever pattern you want :sunglasse

theres big gaps between the lights. i wanted to fill the space and mold them seamless.

You'll have to be very experienced with using fiberglass and bondo to customize your own tail lights. You would probably use your OEM tails as a mold, or a base to start from to create your own. I wouldnt know how to tell you how to go about it though.. I'd have to see the OEM tails in person to see how it could be modified. Either way, its not an easy mod.... its a mod for a proffesional. If you dont know how, then dont... its not something you can just learn.. you'd have to build experience before you can get to that.
