Almost totalled my stealth

Oh my god, I had a horrible day. I was less than an inch away of totalling my car.. i swear.

Today, i was on my way to bloomsburg (a town near me like 10 miles away..). I was driving on a single lane with 3 people in front of me. I was doing about 60, 5 mph over the speed limit and all of our cars were right behind each other. Well I guess the car up in front waited to the last minute to slam on their brakes and make a turn that they almost missed, and this is like a slam on your brakes stop. Well I saw the person in front of me start to break (i had my eyes completely on the road and everything) so I though that it was a slow break, well I didnt notice until the last possible second that they had to slam on their brakes. Well I slammed on my breakes and all your hear is "EERRRRRR" .. and i got so close to the car in front of me.. honestly i swear i was less than an inch away.. and then somehow the car in front of me like moved forward.. like they left off their brakes or something. It seemed like it was from god just moving the car ahead, and i am so thankful that it did because by the time i FINALLY hit a dead end stop i was still less than an inch away.. (didnt actually get out and see like it was an inch away but it was really close!) But if that car didnt move up that little bit, i would have totalled my car without a doubt. Phew.. my baby's fine.


Also remember this is like a single lane highway.. from going to 60 from a COMPLETE stop in the middle of the highway. Stupid f***** drivers. I was so pissed.. thank god no one was behind me either.

that happened to me except the person behind me hit me after i came about 1 inch from that person. just scratches though nothing huge.

I'm glad ur okay, that happened to my friend while I was in the car with him, only instead of us stopping, he rear-ended the car, f'd up his sentra, and the SUV in front of him had 1 scratch on it's bumper

Not to be a jackass, but that's why you shouldn't follow so closely, especially when you don't know where you're going exactly. I almost had the same thing happen to me when I first got my license and since then I've learned my lesson and give people room. Just because you're a good driver, doesn't mean other people aren't complete retards. Glad you and the car are ok.

Wow dude, heck of a scare though, glad to hear your alright. if anything had happend you know who you where supposed to go after right? the dumb ass who turned and caused all that havoc! of course a cop would pin a ticket on you cause of the whole distance trailing crap.

thats the thing i wasnt on their ass at all i was atleast 10-18 feet away. And i saw them put on their brake lights, and i just slowly tapped my brakes thinking nothing of it.. then came up really fast on them and had to slam on my brakes n shit ya know..?
