Rebuilt tranny

a shop here wants $595 for a rebuilt S1 tranny. just me or does this sound like way to much? i got a bad bearing in my current S1.

Well factor in that Si tranny will run you about $150, having it rebuilt can be anywhere from 300-$600. I'd say its about normal.

I bought a SI tranny with 100k on it on ebay for $101.50
