99 gmc -- I hate the DRLs

ok ive got a 99 gmc and ive figured out how to get the auto headlights to turn off to just the manual control now all i need is to get the DRLs to turn off. On the 99s you cant just push the dome override a couple times as i have found out. I have also looked for a fuse specific to the DRLs and i cant seem to find one. although i didnt look that long i might have missed it. has anyone done something else to get their DLRs to go out. what would happen if i just pulled the bulbs?

nothin.. just pull them... their is a fuse for them if it will make you feel better

According to a few websites I just read. There should be a fuse somewhere in your truck for it. I haven't checked mine yet but, like Nigel says you could just pull the bulbs out of your lamps or just clip one wire that goes to each bulb???
