Curious on Shock Issue

I know Bilstein should be the way to go...but how do the KYB's hold up to them? Are they as good as the stock ones? My car right now feels like a boat in water! I need something but not sure if I should spend more money on the Bilstein's.

Seeing how I still haven't figured out the rough acceleration problem and I haven't fixed the rear end whine yet. Hopefully that will be done this Saturday. Money is always an issue.

I have KYB AGX shocks and struts on my car. I like them. I have the fronts on 5 and rears on 4.

If I had the choice to buy them again, I would. Just my :2cents: (well... .01438 after taxes  )

what kind of srpings do you have?
i have eibach and they have a "soft spot on the top of them to make little bump a bit more comfortable. well my problem is that my shockls have that same soft spot.

Well, my whole suspension is still stock. I want to change it out bad but money is a big issue. Still paying for a stupid transmission rebuild.
I really don't want to lower my car, thats why I don't want lowering springs...plus the pot holes and dips here in Florida suck. I hate it when I have to rub that air dam underneath.

I was thinking about just getting the Bilsteins. But what kind of springs would work good, other than stock? I don't want to lower them too much.

when I called edelbrock about third gen shocks/struts they said they dont make them but they have springs .Go ahead and call because I dont know if they were pulling my chain or not.

Okay, I called Edelbrock...ouch...my front shocks with them are:

Front: #33031 $289.00 <-better clean my dishs too!
Rear: #34031 $93.00

For your model...I think its part number:

Front: #33996 $93.00
Rear: #34996 $93.00 <-these are the performance shocks same as above...but you have an option for the classic shocks but I think they are for the older models of the late 60's and 70's.

not sure who this is directed to, I have the stock springs. next to last thing left in my suspension.(torque arm is the other thing).
